KEFO Company Presentation
Year 1949
KEFO was founded in 1949 and then known as Kemoservis. The company was registered for import, export and distribution of laboratory chemicals, consumables and equipment. In 1954 Kemoservis merged with a company Fotomaterial whose primary line of business was import and export of photograph materials and equipment. The merged company was thereafter called Kemoservis-fotomaterial.
Year 2001
Company Kemoservis-fotomaterial is privatised and renamed to KEFO. KEFO thus becomes a private company with the core business in sales and distribution of all products for laboratories, namely: laboratory chemicals, standard and reference materials, laboratory consumable goods and equipment.
Year 2004
KEFO founded a daughter company in Sisak, Croatia. As in Slovenia, Croatian office has its own business premises, warehouse, distribution vehicles and competent employees for promotion and sales of chemicals and other laboratory goods.
Year 2005
KEFO becomes a co-owner of an LLG – Laboratory Logistics Group, which is one of the biggest European companies in sales of laboratory consumable goods and equipment.
KEFO as a partner of LLG, strengthened and broadened its sales program in laboratory consumable goods and equipment to more than 500 suppliers. In its central warehouse in Meckenheim (Germany), LLG has on stock over 10.000 products which are weekly delivered to customers. With this complete program KEFO is fulfilling its motto:

Year 2007
In 2007 KEFO opens its second daughter company in Belgrade, Serbia. Like in Slovenia and Croatia, the company has all resources for promotion and sales of chemicals and other goods for laboratories.
Year 2009
KEFO opens an office also in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Likewise all other subsidiaries, the company has all resources for independent operations.
Year 2010
KEFO bought Industrial chemicals and plastics raw materials department from Merkur d.d. who had a long tradition in the field. With this acquisition KEFO broadened its sales program in all countries of operation.
General
KEFO has in total 62 employees. Majority has university degree and college expert education. All employees are continually educated in order to recognize and fulfil customers' needs and expectations.
KEFO product range is sold on all former Yugoslavian markets, namely: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.

We stock permanently over 100 products from the range above and can supply all kinds of industrial and specialty chemicals according to companies' requirements.
